So i came up with this idea, after a lot of idle time at the office, will try it this weekend, but was wondering what would the rest of the poayers think, any feedback welcome 😊

The general idea is to add a level of complexity to the game, with hand management a la gloomhaven or mistfall, here it goes

D&D Variant

At the beginning of the game take all at will and utility cards available for your character

Take only 1 daily power card

Shuffle them, now this is your deck

At the beginning of your turn, put any card from your hand to the bottom of your deck (if they are in your hand means that they were not used last turn)

Draw 2 cards from the top of your deck, this is your hand

Regular action stay, meaning attack and move, move and attack, move twice or attack twice, but attacks action will be replaced by playing a card

You can replace the attack action (or in this case the play a card action) with other actions available in game i.e. Roll to disable a trap, likewise if you move and then roll for the trap you wont be able to play a card this turn

After playing a card it goes to the discard pile, except Daily Powers, this are remove from the rest of the game (if another card allows you to flip back a used daily power, or utility, you can put it back in your deck instead, then shuffle your deck)

Once your deck is spent, you cant draw anymore cards, you wont be able to do anymore attacks or utilities (you can still move and roll for traps or other actions that don't include your cards)

You can spend one action per turn resting, to rest means that you will take up to three cards from your discard pile into your deck, you can do these twice in the same turn, spending both actions

Whenever you use a healing surge, you can move up to two cards from your discard pile into your deck
